QAComplete - Useful for software and firmware development teams.
It is being used as a primary vehicle to track defects against product firmware. All major releases and minor builds are tested against test plans created in QAcomplete. Defects and feature requests are recorded and handled by the system. NOTHING slips through the cracks. We also use QAcomplete to manage requirements - then create tests to verify the requirements and test against them for validation.
- Allows us to create individual tests then group them into comprehensive test plans.
- Allows me to specify custom fields that match our product features to categorize both tests and defects.
- Allows me to create a series of requirements then match tests against them for validation.
- The recent changes to the defect management page are not user-friendly. When working to log defects in sequence it would be best if a default set of folders/tests could be used.
- Helped us in increase the quality of our firmware releases.
- Helps us continuously improve our testing
